AMT is a term used for a special camshaft grinding process. Some camshaft suppliers grind their camshafts utilizing two lobe masters, manually changing the position of the master depending on which lobe is being ground. AMT however, incorporates a system where every lobe on the camshaft is represented individually on the master thus avoiding any chance of error during the grinding process. These one-piece stainless steel masters are the best way to ensure that every Dynotec® camshaft is supplied with unparalleled cam profile accuracy.
